Mark Lawson from Cycle The Cape joins Long Ride To Freedom to organise the journey

We’re very happy and excited to announce that Mark Lawson of Cycle The Cape has come on board to help us organise the Long Ride To Freedom for next year. Mark’s passion for cycling, love of the Western Cape and experience of managing groups of people on an already established route in the Western Cape, makes it a good fit for Mark to join the team and manage the event. We’re inviting Motor Cycle groups as well as four wheel enthusiasts to join us along this journey to showcase their disruptive companies and technology products that will help clean up the planet and help pivot people into new jobs of the future.

Over the next month in August, Mark will be planning the route, moving the marker along the Google map and basically getting things ready before James, Lebo and Philip to leave up the coast in October to reverse plan the route for next year. In this planning route, we will educate people about Ecommerce, Blockchain technology and show people how to bypass supermarkets and deliver food directly from the farmer to the consumer.

We look forward to a very positive long lasting relationship with Mark who clearly is very passionate about cycling and showcasing South Africa as a tourist destination.
